I love getting to reconnect with old friends! Especially if it ends up being through my photography! This is exactly what happened with my high school friend, Rosielle! At the beginning of her school year, Rosielle contacted me letting me know that she wanted me to do her portraits near the end of the school year! She had referred me to one of her best friends (view Audrey’s portraits here) the year before, so it was exciting getting to finally photograph her! I was so happy for her and for this time in her life! She’s a hard working student, and with her heart and determination, she’s going to be great at what she does!
John & I met with Rosielle and her mom on the lovely, and huge, campus of CSU San Bernardino! It was a surprisingly gloomy day, but we didn’t let it keep us from smiling and having fun! Rosielle was a natural! :)
Here are a couple of my favorites from her senior portraits session!
I asked this sweet grad if she had any advice for the future college grads out there and this is what she said:
“I would say, learn to laugh at your mistakes. Okay, are you done laughing? Now, fix it.”
One of Rosielle’s favorite quotes to live by is “Hakuna Matata”! For those of you who haven’t watched the Lion King, and have never had Timon, Pumba (& eventually Simba) singing that wonderful song in your head, hakuna matata means “Don’t worry”! :)
By the end of the session it started to sprinkle a little bit right before it started to rain! It was like the session was had absolutely perfect timing! Thank God!
CONGRATULATIONS ROSIELLE! :)
Happy Friday!
