A couple years ago I met Felicia at the lovely campus of UCR at our fellowship’s large group meeting! We had both attended high school together, and while her face was familiar, it wasn’t until college that I had the pleasure of getting to know her better! As time passed by, there were three things about her that always stuck with me:
1. She’s crazy good at nail art (even though she doesn’t do it much anymore)
2. She has such a great edgy style that I would’ve never guessed she’d have
3. She has a great heart for outreach! :)
When I graduated two years ago, I still kept in touch with miss Felicia, and I got to meet her awesome sister Serena! The two of them have different personalities, but getting to see them together I noticed how strong their familial bond was! I was so honored when Felicia sent me an email requesting me to photograph her and her family’s Christmas portraits for this year!
We met at Old Town Temecula bright and early for their session! Instantly I fell in love with how unique their outfits were! Their main color was blue, but each of them took their own style to it, which I absolutely loved!
Here’s a look at their Holiday Mini Session! :)
In the next two pictures of Felicia, Serena and their mother, Mr. Gu was behind me encouraging his lovely wife on in her portraits! It was really sweet. :)
I loved how Felicia’s brothers are twins, but they, too were so different in personality and it truly showed in their styles!
And then there were these two gems! :)
Oh yes, and I cannot forget their sweet pup, Big Bear! According to Serena: “Big Bear is my baby!” Haha! Man! Big Bear was a model of his own! I didn’t even have to coach him into this last shot! He just rightfully took his place–he knew he was a big deal. ;)
Thank you, Gu Family, for letting me be your photographer this year! I loved getting to work with you all!! :)
Happy Friday!
(P.S. There’s only 6 days til Christmas! Are you excited??? I am!!!!)
