This past Saturday, I was able to witness and be a part of a beautiful night of worshipping and praising God in unity with a couple of other churches! My super talented friend, Justin of Justin Critz Photography and Justin Critz Music, asked me to come photograph Worship Night at Bagong Buhay Christian Church in Temecula, California. It was such a blessing being able to go, and it reminded me of what inspired me into photographing people and events.
Take a look at some shots I took of this blessed night! May all the glory be unto God! :)
“Those that are free in Christ are free indeed!”
Daniel and Haylee are two amazingly talented people dedicating their talents and gifts back to the One who gave them to them! :)
This is Heliely reciting a poem she wrote based on a quote from the book, Crazy Love by Francis Chan:
“There is an epidemic of spiritual amnesia going around, and none of us is immune. No matter how many fascinating details we learn about God’s creation, no matter how many pictures we see of His galaxies and no matter how many sunsets we watch, we still forget.”
She spoke some awesome Truth.
This next duo is called “Sea of Glass”! Their name derives from Revelations 4. SUCH a blessing to hear their testimony for why their band is named what it is, and the lyrics they were truly divinely inspired by to worship the Lord!
Part of the worship night was a skit portraying how crazy things happen in life, and how the enemy tries to keep us feeling hopeless and often times hurt and angry, but that the Lord prevails in all things and has rescued us, and given us freedom from feeling trapped by the weight of our sin and the sin of this world! Thank You Jesus! He takes our struggles and makes us beautiful as He grows us through them.
I loved this hula that was inspired, and done to the song “Love Came Down.”
“Love came down and rescued me!
Love came down and set me free!
I am Yours!
Lord I’m forever Yours!
Mountains high or valley low,
I sing out and remind my soul:
I am Yours!
I am forever Yours!”
It is an amazing sight to see people of God dancing with joy just as David did in the Old Testament while worshipping God!
While running around, I had to just stop and capture the amazingly delicious bake sale that they had! ;) Hehe
The speaker was Terry Zech for this night! And what an amazing message we received through John 8:1-11! God is soo good! He makes beautiful things out of dust, and He makes beautiful things out of us! I loved the reminder that Jesus came down to us out of God’s love and grace and mercy for His creations, and that we are reconciled to Christ! SO amazing that while we were still sinners, Jesus loved us, and died for us!
He mentioned his wife and kids, and I couldn’t help but seeing this sweet moment of his wife cradling his daughter as they listened to his message!
God is so amazing. I am so thankful to have been given this opportunity to capture this blessed moment of glorifying God through worship in all forms. Taking these photos filled me with so much joy as I saw the Holy Spirit working in this community of believers!
I had an amazing night praising and fellowshipping with God and my brothers and sisters in Christ! All the glory is unto You, God!
Happy Monday!
