Photography Tricks

I got a new gadget in the mail the other day to use for photoshoots! I can’t wait to try it out on photoshoots! I have seen this trick done with engagements and portraits, and I am excited to try it out in my own way during my upcoming sessions! :)

Obviously, the first thing I did as soon as I had the opportunity, was play with it as much as I could! :) Here are a couple quick photos I took to see the different effects of it!

My first subject were these flowers in my backyard! They’re so pretty! The mirror-type effect is not photoshopped, but taken with my new toy on the scene!

Against his will, John was my next subject! :)

HAHA! His face in this photo kills me! :)

I went on a retreat this same day, and played around with it with two of my friends, Jessica and Jewel! :) You can see the reflection of our friend Amanda in this photo of Jess! It’s a bit trippy if you ask me! Haha Jessica is one of my good friends from college! She has been a blessing to my life, and is a great example to me of intentionality and encouragement. :) She has a contagious laugh (whether it’s laughing with her or at her actual laugh haha), and although everyone makes fun of her, she is loved dearly. :)

This is my other friend Jewel! :) She’s one of my newer friends that I have met through Jessica and John’s small group, JJ’s Crew! :) I have been so encouraged by her since I’ve met her! Her life is such a great testimony of God’s work in her life and it’s so evident! :) She is a great example to me of prayer, and intentionality as well. She is another person whose personality just makes you happy, also! :)

Although I don’t think I’ll be using this toy for all my photos, it’s definitely a prop I will be taking along, and am excited to use more!! Schedule your photo session today! ;)

Happy Friday!
