Since the first email I received from Tutrang, we got along just great, and I was extremely excited to meet her and photograph her! But when she told me about the props she wanted to bring to her photoshoot, I knew just then, that were meant to be: photographer and she-to-be-photographed. Tutrang is a stunning woman inside and out! Graduating from the Univeresity of California, Riverside with her Liberal Studies degree, she is also being honored as Cum Laude of her class!

We met on campus on a beautiful day! It wasn’t too hot, which was a surprise, and the time of day was perfect! Tutrang came in a beautiful striped dress, with a cap, gown, medal in hand, and a bag of goodies. :)

Originally, part of her props were a Starbucks cup and cupcakes, to symbolize her love for coffee and sweets–two things that I absolutely love. This was honestly the marking point where I absolutely knew this photoshoot was going to rock. ;) Unfortunately, these props ended up not making it to the shoot, but even more fortunately, Tutrang came ready and beautiful and with some awesome props we were able to use! :)

Her first prop, other than her amazing medal of educational achievement, was her wonderful sunhat! :)

Her next prop was a gift from a friend: the popular Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss! It is quite the fitting book for a graduation photoshoot, I’d say! Wouldn’t you agree?

Her last prop was a picture frame Tutrang made in a woodshop class! It looked fantastic! I wish I could make something like that with my own hands! Maybe another adventure one day? :)
