I met Breshon at a group home I worked for not too long ago. We used to work a lot of graveyard shifts together (XP I don’t know how I did it, honestly). My shifts with her were always so much fun & often times we talked about life and how things were going–and often times she would bring up Isaac. :) I feel like it was just yesterday that we were talking about how she was excited to get engaged, though she felt like it would be a while from then. Funny how it happened shortly after that conversation. n__n
I will never forget the first story Breshon ever told me about Isaac, I won’t share the details too much, but I will say that it involved him ordering flowers for her while they were far from each other, and as she put it, she wasn’t being too kind to him when he did. :) To me, that story of how he loved on her, even when she didn’t think she deserved it, is such a beautiful picture of patience and love.
Meeting him, finally, for their engagement session was awesome! It was good to see Breshon so happy to be with him and it was cute to see how he treated her, as well. :) The chemistry between them was so evident, and it was almost too easy for me to capture a few candids of how Isaac makes Breshon laugh. So many times at our old work, Breshon and I (Breshon did it better), were forced into acting so tough and so strong in front of the girls we worked with in order to have authority and cooperation. It was so sweet to see her so joyful and light with Isaac around. :)
Take a look at some of their photos from the Engagement session with them! :D
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.”
